WORD UNVEIL

Word Unveil is a word puzzle game for Android. This policy explains what information the game uses and why. The short version: we do not run any servers and we do not collect or store your personal data ourselves. Your progress is saved only on your device. A few Google services built into the game handle their own data, as described below.

Data stored on your device

Your level progress, daily challenge scores and streak, hint balance, and settings (such as sound on/off) are saved in a file on your phone. This file never leaves your device and is deleted if you uninstall the game.

Advertising (Google AdMob)

The game shows optional rewarded video ads, which you choose to watch in exchange for hints. These ads are provided by Google AdMob. AdMob may collect and use information such as your device's advertising ID, IP address, and general device information to show ads and measure their performance. In the UK, EEA and Switzerland you are asked for consent before personalised ads are shown, and you can change your choice at any time.

Leaderboards (Google Play Games Services)

If you sign in to Google Play Games, the game submits your daily challenge score and the number of levels you have completed to Google Play leaderboards. Your Play Games profile name and score may be visible to other players. This is handled by Google under the Google Privacy Policy. You can play without signing in.

In-app purchases (Google Play Billing)

Hint packs are bought through Google Play. Payment details are handled entirely by Google; we never see your card or account details. The game only receives confirmation of the purchase so it can add your hints.

Children

Word Unveil is not directed at children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children.

Your rights

Because we do not hold your personal data, there is nothing for us to access, correct or delete on our side. For data held by Google (ads, Play Games, purchases), you can manage it from your Google Account. Uninstalling the game removes everything saved on your device.

Changes

If this policy changes, the updated version will be posted on this page with a new date.
